Read more! None of us have been slow in accepting that wireless needs to be part of the FiWi Pie to connect different communities over different geographical terrain and so on. Or we would never have come up with the term "FiWi" - fibre<-->wireless. In Afghanistan, they are making wireless kit out of rubbish.

This is precisely the sort of problem solving approach that the UK are going to be forced to adopt if the new BDUK initiative fails to take advice from those at grassroots, instead of those perpetuating the myths.
