My instant reaction to the new name was, "First Third....Finally"! However you call it, there is now an organisation fighting the corner at every level for the rural FTTH/ FiWi need.

Three bloody cheers - this has been a horrendously long time in coming, despite calls for such an org in reports and reviews.

Well done to Charles Trotman and the CLA for bringing together a group of 25-30 orgs and individuals to fight the corner. I'm glad to have been part of making it happen though desperately sad I couldn't attend and contribute. Nor could many others. However, we are here to be part of it now it exists.
